Welcome to Mary Help of Christians Academy
Mary Help of Christians Academy is a Catholic School in the Salesian Tradition for young women grades 6 to 12, located in North Haledon, NJ.
Mary Help of Christians Academy has been serving the Northern New Jersey area, providing a sanctuary for young women to learn, grow and succeed in a safe, nurturing environment since 1921.
Our mission is to provide student-centered learning within a family atmosphere that embodies the Salesian philosophy of reason, religion, and loving kindness as taught by St. John Bosco and St. Mary Mazzarello. Nestled on a picturesque sixteen acre campus, we challenge our students to develop their potential and to dedicate themselves to academic excellence, faith, leadership and service as they take their place in our rapidly changing and pluralistic society.
